What We Offer:
Our Mission is to foster and nurture the connection between young children and their families and caretakers while building a caring and supportive community through shared resources and hands on play.
Our Vision is to provide a space for families and caretakers to gather as well as find resources to help foster young children through age appropriate activities and hands on play allowing them to grow, connect, and thrive.
What is play-based learning?
Play-based learning is a hands on experience with intrinsic motivation for the learner. Where process is more important than the outcome, it involves levels of active engagement that allow for children to be met at there individual growth levels through immersive exploration in a safe and nurturing environment.
The benefits of play are seen as developing or promoting creativity, imagination and spontaneous learning (Lieberman, 1977). These creative skills require a variety of approaches to allow children to explore issues from a variety of perspectives, and playful methods in particular encourage and enable alternative views to be produced.
Reviews
We love Victoria and Connor! My son and daughter are always excited to join and having a wonderful time playing in a warm and fun environment. The teachers are so friendly and engaging and just amazing with kids. The class gives a great variety of connection and activities for them to explore and learn in a number of ways. I would highly recommend it. ----- Courtney
Connor and Victoria were amazing teachers to our eldest three kiddos. Our children enjoyed learning from the creative projects they made in school. They are very knowledgeable and we highly recommend them. ------ Maria
Connor and Victoria have been taking care of my three girls for the last 6 years, and we now call them family. They are phenomenal child care providers, creative teachers and two of the most loving wonderful people I have ever known. I still come to them when I need support, and my kids love them so much, they treat Connor and Victoria’s kids like siblings, and my oldest has already volunteered to help them in their next adventure. ------ Lauren
